SPONTAINETY is your backup plan,
Plan your LIFE...
Saturday Night in the city. Woohoo! All about the good food and the endless laughs.
Me and my hubby are big fans of comedy shows. We jump at the chance to go when we can. Whether it is in a small local setting or on a big stage. Sometimes I will purposely buy tickets to a show in a different city or state and plan a mini vacation around it.
This was a night on the upper west side at the Beacon Theater. One of our favorite venues. Throw in dinner before the show to make it a perfect evening.
Red Farm on 76th and Broadway. A couple of blocks from the Beacon. Love a place where you can get a bunch of small plates to share. And this did not disappoint. Everything was fantastic and so delicious!!! The restaurant is a small footprint with many tables, intimate and energetic so if you don’t mind being close to strangers and speaking maybe a bit loud (using your outside voice inside, LOL) this place is for you. Our final food choices were the below.

Comedian, Mike Birbiglia, The Good Life. Our show was being taped for Netflix. He is such a talented story teller who brings the laughs at his expense. It was such a personal show about his father, his daughter and much more. After the show, he was handing out cupcakes in front of the theater. If you ever get to see the show then it will make sense why.
